The fact, that you were deceived the first time, you should no longer engage in any transaction with the man because it will be possible that in the end, you will be losing more.:(

Device convergence. Cameraphones have been catching up very nicely as of late. I can do so me pretty astounding things with my iPhone 4 camera plus photo software. The only real issue yet to be sorted out is zoom.
Until they start adding a decently sized sensor there will be no true convergence. The iPhone does take great pictures - for a phone. There's no comparison when it comes to a point and shoot camera, never mind a digital SLR.
Both cameras handle low light situations, much better then the iPhone, the aperture can handle faster shutter speeds so you can increase/decrease the aperture and shutter speeds depending on the conditions.
Cameras have way too much ability and performance over a camera phone. They're only catching up on megapixels, sensor size, RAW, aperture, lens, shutter speed have not been addressed on a phone

Last weekend I picked up the 2.6 ghz model with 2 gbs of ram. I'm planning on upgrading the ram to 4 gbs because I'm under the impression that this is the most you can put in the machine. However, in looking at info on the mac mini wikipedia site it says that the mini is Expandable to 8 GiB (4 GiB supported by Apple)
So how much ram will work in this machine? Can it really handle 8gbs?

Even that link you posted is overpriced. You don't need to look for apple-specific memory, you just need DDR3 1067MHz 204-pin SODIMMs

Tony Abbott's notions on constitutional monarchy:
There are some people who believe that any republic would be better than what we have now.
Republic or bust zealots are incapable of perceiving any difficulties. Conservatives, however, dont change anything lightly.
Conservatives approach issues with instinctive respect for institutions and approaches that have stood the test of time.
If it is not necessary to change the conservative ethos runs, it is necessary not to change.
If it aint broke, dont fix it say conservatives, and if it is broke, recycle it, dont throw it away.
LOL on several levels. :rolleyes:

I have a package design project in my design class and was wondering if anyone had any good ideas for packages that need to be redesigned.
What package couldn't benefit from a well-thought out redesign?

So, who's lining up tomorrow? If all goes as planned, I should be at the Eaton Centre's Apple Store at 1PM, hopefully it won't be too late. Anybody there as well? :D
Probably Square One for me.

I honestly havnen't had good luck with the mac clients. I LOVE the GPU clients on regular PC's. There is just so much more PPD available with a GPU client.

No, I didn't get one either.
I bookmarked the no spoilers page and someone posted the direct link to the stream in the comments about a half hour after the keynote ended.
If you didn't know to look in the comments, you would have had to wait about another hour before Macrumors posted that stream link on the actual no spoilers page.
And no e-mail. Pretty weak.

I have three letters for you.... DRM.
The Netflix app is very well protected.
They do this to prevent stream recording/capture.
I bet they need to update the app for the new accessory. I have been using Netflix with the apple component cable since we got our ipad, it works great.
That's what I was going to say. It's probably got nothing to do with DRM as they allow analog out to work.

Ok, here is the issue. I have a MacBook Pro 15 inch 2.4 Core 2 Duo (late 2007 model) with 6GB of RAM (DDR2 667). I don't know how to explain this because I am so pissed! Ok so let me try. Take a look at this screenshot.
In proper English (the one spoken in Britain), pissed = drunk out of your head, pissed off = annoyed. I assume you are annoyed because you have just enough knowledge to get all heated up under your collar, but not enough knowledge to actually understand things.
Unused memory is useless. You bought 6 GB of RAM to use it. Freeing up the inactive memory just wastes it. What you want to do is like renting a huge storage space and paying lots of money for it, filling it with your stuff, and then complaining that you don't have any empty storage space left. That's the point of it, to be used.
I cant open other apps because there is only 28.6MB of memory FREE..
You _think_ you can't open other apps. If you had tried it, you would have seen that the application is started just fine, and the "inactive" memory gets instantly turned into "used" memory for the next application. And if you have neither unused nor inactive memory, you can still start more applications. The operating system will then automatically use the hard drive instead of RAM, which is slower but still works.

It's probably your email script...
When you have a php form using POST variables like you do (method="post") and your not sure about the form part all you need to do is to put this test code in the page your submitting to in this case contactformprocess.php.
<pre>
<?php
print_r($_POST);
?>
</pre>
<?php exit; ?>
This will print out the POST array showing you all the values that were submitted. That way you know that the form submission is good if you get the expected results and you can then debug the submit to script.
Usually I put in a exit or die statement after the closing </pre> tag to stop the script execution so I can easily see the POST array contents. The <pre> tags aren't needed but they format the array so it's easy to read.
