Mmm .. no. The reason you don't see it much is because XP SP2 is pretty rock solid as far as operating systems go.
If a machine reboots when you're typing an email, then folk would still register this as a crash.
He was talking about seeing blue screens. So it doesn't matter how many people would register it as a crash....they still wouldn't see a blue screen. That was the point he was trying to make.
Also, just as a side note...it took them three years to create the version you're talking about. I'm not stating this for argumentit's only here as additional info.

1. Pages 2 does have an auto-correct feature. It's in preferences.
2. All Cocoa applications have a thesaurus. Hold down cmd-control-d and point to the word -- the dictionary definition pops up, which can be changed to a thesaurus by dropping the tab at the bottom.

Ditto. And if they are different, it's definitely NOT 2mm (1mm per side) like the post says. If anything, it's a quarter of a mm each side MAX.
Yes we all forgot about your super human ability to determine things based on a small grainy picture...

Using Apple.com prices for comparison, current Mighty Mouse is $49 and Bluetooth Mouse is $59.
I would like to see the Bluetooth Mighty Mouse at $59 or even better a Bluetooth Keyboard and Mighty Mouse Combo for $99.
Ditto - if the mouse is 70 dollars, there's no way I'll pay for it (I'm still surprised I forked over the 50 dollars for the last Mighty Mouse...)
My guess? They lower the price of the wired Mighty Mouse a bit, discontinue the other bluetooth mouse, and replace it with a bluetooth Mighty Mouse for 50-60 dollars. My hope? They offer a bundle, with both the wireless keyboard + mouse for 99 dollars or less.

So what's the Stand menu in Safari between Window and Debug?
I guess that'd be Safari Stand (http://hetima.com/safari/stand-e.html). Unless...

I think you are all wrong. On the BMW model names "ix" stands for a fuel injection engine and four-wheel drive. I believe there is an OS M coming for certain BMW models.

What a bunch on whining individuals you are.
"this belongs on page 2"
"enough of this, page 2"
Yeah, yeah, all we know now is that it's becoming increasingly clear that the next generation iPhone is scheduled for a September release, end of story
stop whining geez
Why? It's good feedback for the owner of this site.

I actually get a half-green, half-passion tea lemonade. Try it. It's good. :)
Corey, that dog is adorable. What breed?
Thank you :)
He is a Toy American Eskimo (Eskimo/German/American Spitz).
Not Japanese, I'm dumb :)

I have nothing against Apple shareholders (both shorts and longs :D). It's just this is not a forum for them. This is their forum: http://messages.finance.yahoo.com/mb/AAPL

Why do people get so angry about the hypothetical details of a rumoured service? It's all conjecture anyway!
I'm hoping for a service that includes video; so I can store any purchased video as well as any home videos I upload and stream them to iphone and appleTV. Tack that on to MobileMe and cut the price a bit, and I'm in. I'd pay more than 20 for that. I might even buy an AppleTV2 to go with it rather than go to the trouble of hacking my AppleTV1 to work with the service.
But hey, if it doesn't happen, no biggie. I've been meaning to hack my AppleTV1 to work with an external HD anyway. If they provide the service and it's good, I'll pay for it and buy a new AppleTV, if they don't I'll be hack-upgrading the ATV1.

I like this. I see a commercial use for this one ... I don't know what the product would be, but I see it used in an ad for something.
Here's mine for today: Public bathrooms in Cozumel, Mexico.

My apps all seem to be showing it (search Anthony Wardley on iTunes to see). They are finance and Australian Tax apps, some universal, some iPhone only so there doesn't seem to be a pattern (maybe all iOS 3.0 +???).

Just says -
Depth: 0.37 inch (9.3 mm)...lies, available in white and black....
...oh well
I honestly think "0.37 inch" is probably accurate enough for both white and black, as they are probably both within 0.365-0.375 inches. 0.01 inches = 0.25 mm, which is more like what it looks like the difference is in the pic to me...

Something just happened in the stats, we got a big jump and many teams too. Yet I don't think this is the whole catch up as we still miss points as a team and I still miss a big unit...
That was enough to get us to #58 though, just by a hair...
Yes indeed, we just passed club lexus, I'll have to take a look to see if I got my points back.
yeah, but i still haven't gotten my points back yet

Steve Gibson (http://grc.com/) (love him or hate him) reports that Vista's rewritten network stack, through the various betas, has been shown vulnerable to a number of the exploits that more mature stacks (e.g. BSD's stack, the one MS used to quietly use) have fixed over the past decade! It just seems ludicrous. And if someone wants to listen to it...
Security Now! 51: Vista's Virgin Stack (http://www.twit.tv/sn51)
Microsoft's Vista EULA says:
4. USE WITH VIRTUALIZATION TECHNOLOGIES. You may not use the software installed on the licensed device within a virtual (or otherwise emulated) hardware system.
This means you can't use the *same* installation of Vista Home inside a virtualization technology on the "licensed device".It still looks like they don't want you to install it on a VM if you have it already installed on your system. Still, that's up in the air and we just LOVE Microsoft.
