Have a question related to that:
If job / EB2 stipulates Bachelors + 5 years criteria, does it imply 5 years after obtaining the degree or can the experience be cumulative ?
From what I know the 5 yrs are after obtaining the degree. Your job responsibilities should increase in those 5 yrs. That is why when people try to apply under EB2 with Bachelors + 5 years criteria the experience letters play a big role. On the other hand when people substitute the Bachelors + 5 years criteria with MS and a few yrs experience all they need is the degree and a letter from the co-worker that they worked there without having to spell out the job responsibilities.
Having said all this, I might be wrong as I'm not a lawyer.

I had filed my 485 during the VB fiasco, but did not file for ead/ap, as my H1 was valid. I intend to apply now but not sure what the filing fee is? Can one of you guys who might have filed later guide me on what the fee amount is and the documents that need to go with it. Is Efiling an option?
USCIS website says $340 for the EAD and $304 for AP, but I guess it is the new fee and does not apply to folks who had their AOS filed before July 30, 07.

i did not receive any correspondence for my I140 as well as for my labor.
My company provided me with a copy of my approved I140 (scanned) but refused to share any info on the approved labor.

Sorry, I could not locate the thread about address change. I am moving at the end of this month to a new address in a neighboring suburb. I have an approved I-140 and a pending I-485 with AP and EAD in hand.

Also you need to prove that you have exhausted all ways to get it adjudicated.

Honestly, if the Democrats lose this seat, it is because of taking their voter base for granted.
Hopefully, this will light a fire under them and make them more focused on their promises.
I agree that if they lose this seat, it will be the end of CIS and it will be hard to pass any meaningful legislation for us either.

If Indian Govt asks for more PR / GC numbers make sense. with current economic status rather asking for more H1B numbers.

My wife's and mine EAD renewal was applied on the 23rd of July (company lawyer delayed filing). I received mine in 30 days but my wife's case is still pending, though I am working on my H1 and don't need it. My wife's current EAD expires today, is there anything we can do to get the process to move faster or get her case expediated other than just wait till 90 days. There are lots of people I know who received their EADs even though their applications were sent much later. If the discontinuity is long, my wife may loose her job.

My wife was in US in Oct 2007 on H4 Visa and went back in Mar '08 while she was in US we applied her H1B in 2008 and was approved and she got her H1B stamped in India and came back to US in Oct 2008. since she did not find any job, her payroll is not running and the her employer wants her to switch back to H4 Visa, and once she finds a project she can change her status back to H1B.
My Question here is
1) For COS from H1B to H4, Does she need Pay stubs? and how easy it is for the COS?
2) Her Employer says that she can apply for H4 Stamping and inform the Visa Officer that during her stay in US she did not join the company for medical reasons. Does this create any issues with her H1B.
3) Can Some one suggest a good immigration Lawyer in San Diego?

I guess posting this was the trigger for USCIS to send the approval. I got the CPO mail in my email a few mins ago!

To the best of my knowledge, e-filed applications for EAD and AP renewals usually trigger biometrics appointments. If applications for EAD and AP renewals are filed the old-fashioned way, biometric appointments will probably not be required.
With respect to your second question, you must be physically present in the US to file tha application for Advance Parole.
