Techcrunch is the LAST place I would go, even after deciding to not look any further, I still would not go there or read anything they claim.
Just my opinion.

Website -- http://www.apple-core.net/ -- Coming soon is the fully-fledged front page and website of Apple-Core.net. The site has been up since April 11 and is already making ground-breaking progress. Contained on the front page is a preview of the many features to come.
Forum -- http://www.apple-core.net/forums/ -- Up since only April 11, in roughly one week, the community squadron and its helpful members have accumualted a total of over 1000 articles and a total of 40 contributing individuals. Ever-growing, many more styles, themes, mods, etc. are to come. Register today and give us your ideas & feedback on the forum and you have a good chance of becoming a moderator in the upcoming elections!
Gallery -- TBA -- A functional gallery is still awaiting its move from the previous preliminary domain of AppleCore, but will be a great place for images, movies, audio, and files of many other kinds.

RSS Feed & News -- TBA -- In the coming week, the RSS feed should be up and working along with news for the front page and elsewhere. In the future, AppleCore hopes to become one of Spymac's very own news tracks!
Other -- TBA -- See the front page for all of the other features and parts of the site that are soon to come! A "history" page of the website with the back-stories of the team and the website, a "retro" page for all of you old-school Mac, computing, gaming, and music geeks, auctions (yes'r, yes'm!), and more to come!
Enjoy
Now head on over and have some fun! Please, register and suggest each, every, and any idea or comment you may have. Your feedback is crucially helpful in the advancement of the site and its parts!
Everyone is welcome. You will soon notice that the AppleCore forums are a blend of professionality and relaxation, with a perky look yet highly un-restrictive and laid-back attitude. We just want everyone to have some fun.
MacRumors fellows, enjoy!

Yes, the vyper or a case will offer good protection but they are bulky. If you need to fit your mbp in a backpack or professional briefcase I would go with a sleeve. Depends what you want.

BLAAAAA!!!
So I cant do it with a DVD at all? WTH? Seems very inconvenient to need the special USB install media.
That is the case with ALL Macs that ship with newer version of OS X, not just MBAs. The install media is included so you can use it and sometimes it's the only media you can use. Apple didn't include it so you can just throw it away.

Hi,
I wrote a simple server application in C. This server do nothing except print the received message, then exit. Here is the code
int listenfd,connfd,n;
struct sockaddr_in servaddr,cliaddr;
socklen_t clilen;
char *mesg = (char*) malloc(1000*sizeof(char));
listenfd=socket(PF_INET,SOCK_STREAM,0);
bzero(&servaddr,sizeof(servaddr));
servaddr.sin_family = AF_INET;
servaddr.sin_addr.s_addr = INADDR_ANY;
servaddr.sin_port=htons(20600);
bind(listenfd,(struct sockaddr *)&servaddr,sizeof(servaddr));
listen(listenfd,5);
clilen=sizeof(cliaddr);
connfd = accept(listenfd,(struct sockaddr *)&cliaddr,&clilen);
n = (int) recvfrom(connfd,mesg,1000,0,(struct sockaddr *)&cliaddr,&clilen);
sendto(connfd,mesg,n,0,(struct sockaddr *)&cliaddr,sizeof(cliaddr));
printf("-------------------------------------------------------\n");
mesg[n] = 0;
printf("Received the following:\n");
printf("%s\n",mesg);

close(connfd);

"Battery life is better" is the new "Safari seems snappier".
These are the ONLY things Apple said about 4.3.3, so what are you people on about?
Reduces the size of the cache
No longer backs the cache up to iTunes
Deletes the cache entirely when Location Services is turned off
File under Placebo Effect ;)

Ok, this is the dynamic of the buyer:
-Oh, cool, I have the money but.... I can buy 2 of 19" or 2 of" 17" for that price. Of course I would need an special accesory to run a secund LCD accessory.
Some people are gonna buy that thing, there is a market for ir, but, just imagine the time spend closing the lots of windows.
I would buy one of those, would be like buying another computer. Now, I do not have the money for it, I may never have but there are companies with the resources to do it.

I tried resetting both, but nothing happens.
Hopefully the new motherboard will do the trick. If not, it seems that I'm out of luck. Frick.

I just released a free WordPress theme called iFeature for free. It looks like Apple's website and even has a feature slider, social networking, and sharing options.

The stuff used on the heatsink is NOT an adhesive. It is just a compound that maximises the heat transfers between CPU and heatsink. The heatsink MUST be held down with the screws.
From the looks of it, you've either got a damaged bottom case (screw mount knocked off) or a bottom case for the wrong model (slightly different fittings).

Can I run two external displays from the 21" iMac? One from mini dp with vga converter and one from thunderbolt to vga or hdmi? It looks like the graphics card only supports one external display by the specs.. so what would be the point of using the thunderbolt over the mini display port right?
I would get a 21.5" iMac to go with my two 22" ips monitors if I knew it could work...
