Since I did my master's here. I think they filed my case under EB1...I need to re-check. If this is the case then how long does it take. Yes I'm an indian.
EB1, EB2 and EB3 depend NOT on your personal qualifications but on the job requirements, which are:
EB3 - BS or BS+<5 yrs
EB2 - BS+>5 yrs or MS
EB1 - PhD

There are huge set of techniques by which searching in Google can be done more accurately, and here is a list of them that I frequently use.
1. Whenever we search for more than one keyword (i.e. computer programming, here we use 2 key word. a) computer b) programming) at a time Google will handle this keyword using a method called Boolean Default. Google's Boolean default is AND; that means if we enter query words without modifiers, Google will search for all of them. If we search for:
computer programming
Google will search for all the words. If we want to specify that either word is acceptable, we can put an OR between each item:
computer OR programming
If we want to exclude a query item from search results, use a -.(minus sign or dash:
computer -programming
Note that there is no space after the (-) sign.

After july fiasco, uscis and dol are very very cautious, in opening up the gates and calling everyone current. (They dont want another 1-2 million applications being sent).
It is defintely not going to happen in the near future.....
So even finding a pattern may not help as its not going to be current for all for EB3 atleast.
I don't think it will become current for atleast couple of years.

I joined dphoto because I wanted to get more use out of my digital camera. I figure that if I can learn to take better pictures, then I will have more fun.

I got all the receipts and FP notice from VSC on 10/15. Everything was filed on 7/31 and sent to TSC. FP date was 10/30. Got EAD last week and they want ID again for AP. 485 has been trasnferred to TSC now.

What else do you want Bro. Give 30 days time to USCIS to send your card. we, most of us, would me more satisfied just to see the magical words - Current Status: Card production ordered in our case status.
Regarding holding card in physically, have to wait some time. Which should not be more taxing than waiting to see the magical words.

The new US consulate in Hyderabad starts functioning from 10/24. However it starts visa services only in December.

For AC21 I think I will need to match following:
1. New employment letter which should describe duties which 'must' be same or similar to what was mentioned in my labor certificate.
2. Start date/salary/position title
3. Any Benefits if provided.
Do I need any document from sposerer employer? Do I need anything else?

Carry the new Approval notice(s), copy of entire application, your h1 approval and a couple of your recent paystubs. Should suffice. at the POE the officer will issue a new paper stub I94 that has the 2009 date.

Hi all,
I had applied for my I-140/I-485 (concurrent) in Summer 07 and am awaiting a decision. My company has not been paying on time and is lagging behind on pay checks for about a few months now... I would like to know how this would affect my I-140 - Does the USCIS normally issue an RFE for this type of a problem or would they deny the I-140 ? If it is an RFE, what kind of proof does the company have to provide ?
Is it required for the company to completely catch up on the backlog and have all the pending pay checks paid before my I-140 gets processed ?

I filed I-131 and I-765 and could not regenerate the confirmation receipt notice in PDF, system crashed and closed the window, but I have the receipt numbers did anyone went through this situation

1. How do you know that we are not approving 2004 cases? Just that you didn't got your approval doesn't mean that we are not approving 2004 cases.
2. There are not that many 2004 cases, so we are approving 2005 and 2006 cases.
3. We divided cases into 3 boxes : 2004, 2005, 2006. It must be a case that IO's assigned to 2006 are working faster and efficiently.
4. We received so many 2006 I-485 applications on 07/02/2007. We are just processing by Receive Date.
5. We made a policy to approve I-485 cases bases on I-140 approval dates. Since we have many cases with old I-140 approval cases that happened to be with earlier priority dates, we are approving them now.
6. There are so many FBI name check hits on 2004 cases. All name hits will be processed later.
7. Oops... we sorted all cases that can be approved, by descending order. Sorry!
8. Time and again we want to prove that we can do anything we want.
9. All EB2 perm cases are really frustrated EB3 cases that have an older EB3 priority dates. We just wanted to be fair to them.
10. Yikes! Dog ate all 2004 cases.
